This free plugin brings multiple wallpaper support to Lightning Launcher (a free and powerful home screen replacement available on the Play Store).With Lightning Launcher you can manage several independent desktops and this plugin will allow you to set a distinct wallpaper for each desktop. These desktop wallpapers can be combined with the Android system wallpaper, meaning that you can have a live wallpaper, with an additional translucent wallpaper above for instance.Important things to know:a) Compatible with Lightning Launcher 7.9 and aboveb) This plugin is brand new and as such is still pretty basic: it is able to use most images, but not all (technically speaking: jpeg, png images with 24 or 32bits color, no grayscale)c) Images are displayed with their original scale, centered on the screen. You may need to scale the wallpaper yourself before to use it. Upgrades will include support for more options in the future.d) Displaying several wallpapers will necessarily need a lot of memory. Please don't file a bug because memory usage increases, this is a normal behavior and there is nothing that I can do about it (more images, more memory).e) It may slow down scrolling a bit (on some devices, not all)Why is this feature a plugin and not built in the Launcher ? Because handling multiple wallpapers is memory hungry and may have a performance impact on some devices: not everyone wants this. Keeping this module outside of Lightning Launcher will ensure the best possible performance for everyone, while still enabling the feature for peoples that want more.
